H. Peterson
|
Professor Peterson, a historian
of the American West, came to Oklahoma from Texas to attend graduate
school at the University of Oklahoma.
His teaching experience began
as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Oklahoma.
From there he went to the history departments at Arkansas State
University, Southwestern State University and the University
of Central Oklahoma.
His educational background
includes a B.S. and M. Ed. from McMurry University, as well as
all class work and language requirements met for a Ph.D. at the
University of Oklahoma. Aside from his teaching duties, he has
been the Director of the Museum Studies program, and Director
of the University of Central Oklahoma Historical Museum for twenty-two
years.
