New Study Tour Oversight Council Policy
In order to facilitate the oversight of, guidance to and advocacy for study tours and similar field experiences that are led by Liberal Arts College faculty, the College establishes a Liberal Arts Study Tour Oversight Council (LA STOC). The voting members shall be faculty of the College experienced in leading study tours and a representative from the Dean's Office.

OSLEP Announces 2009-2010 Seminars
The Oklahoma Scholar-Leadership Enrichment Program (OSLEP) is a unique intercollegiate, interdisciplinary program designed to develop the scholarship and leadership abilities of Oklahoma's outstanding college and university students. The program is sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and administered by the University of Oklahoma.

Block one:
First day of class: August 17, 2009
Last day of class: October 6, 2009
Final exams: October 7, 2009
Block two:
First day of class: October 8, 2009
Last day of class: December 4, 2009
Final exams: December 7-11, 2009
Intersession:
First day of class: July 29, 2009
Last day of class: August 7, 2009
Final exams: August 8, 2009
Other dates to remember:
Fall Start-Up August 10-14, 2009 (no intersession classes)
Labor Day September 7, 2009 (no classes)
Fall Break October 15-16, 2009 (no classes, offices open)
Thanksgiving November 25-29, 2009 (no classes)
Only workshops, institutes, and tours may have dates that deviate from the above.
NO ARRANGED TIME (ARR.) SHOULD BE USED FOR REGULAR COURSES, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF MUSIC AND NURSING.
Irregular courses (thesis, directed readings, individual studies, etc.) are NOT scheduled classes and should not be included in the class schedule.
